One year into the COVID-19 pandemic, indoor aerosols continue to present a risk of SARS-CoV-2 transmission and a pathway that challenges safely re-opening our buildings to restore lives and livelihoods. Building owners, tenants and facility managers are currently evaluating mitigation strategies and seeking to understand risk. Therefore, a team of researchers consisting of Dr. Richard Corsi, Portland State University, Dr. Charles Haas, Drexel University, Dr. Kevin Van Den Wymelenberg, IHBE and Hooman Parhizkar, PhD student at IHBE collaborated to develop a parametric estimation platform. The paper describing their approach has just been released as a preprint and is available now!
