The Oregon Mass Timber Coalition has launched their website at masstimbercoalition.org.
As of today, the Oregon Mass Timber Coalition is submitting the proposal for the Build Back Better Program! If funded, we will be developing an innovation hub and production campus for mass timber research and fabrication, with the goal of making affordable housing more accessible in Portland and throughout our state.
The Mass Timber Coalition, a collaboration between the Port of Portland, Oregon State University’s TallWood Design Institute, and the University of Oregon Energy Studies in Buildings Laboratory and Institute for Health in the Build Environment, is well positioned to lead affordable housing efforts while supporting Oregon’s sustainable Mass Timber lumber industry.
