A recent OregonNews feature highlights how the College of Design is preparing students for careers in architecture through a hands-on studio course led by IHBE co-director Mark Fretz. In this course, students designed hospitals built from mass timber, a sustainable material prized for its low carbon footprint and visual appeal.
