The Heliodon is an analog tool that simulates the sun and shadow patterns that occur at different latitudes, times of year, and times of day. Simple, complex, and iterative scale models of buildings, sites, or details can be secured to the flat surface and manually adjusted to get real-time imaging of light and shadows on the models’ surfaces.
